West Region, Supplier Diversity and EPP Program Manager
Sylvia L. Daniels Ray is Cardinal Health’s Supplier Diversity & EPP Manager for the West Region. She is responsible for the execution and oversight of the supplier diversity and environmentally preferred purchasing strategies for Cardinal Health’s partnership with Kaiser Permanente. Prior to joining Cardinal Health, Sylvia worked for Henry Ford Health System in Southeastern Michigan for 16 years. As a Healthcare Supplier Diversity Professional, she has over 20 years of progressive experience in Supplier Diversity, Vendor Management and Vendor Compliance.
Alan Gartrell
Western Director of Procurement
Alan has over 20 years in Purchasing & Warehousing Management in the Entertainment & Hospitality Industry. Alan joined Caesars Entertainment in June 2011 and is currently responsible for overseeing supply chain & procurement for 15 properties in Caesars’ Western Region, (Nevada, Arizona, & California). Prior to this role, Alan was the Regional Director for the Eastern and Southern Region. Before coming to Caesars, Alan spent 4 years as the Purchasing Manager at The Grove Park Inn Resort & Spa in Asheville, NC and 10 years as the Purchasing and Warehouse Manager at Six Flags America in Maryland. Alan went to Mars Hill College for a BA in Music Theory and Performance. Alan resides in Las Vegas, NV with his Wife, Bianca Gartrell and his 6 year old son Luca.
Michael Aguillio
Business Outreach Liaison
Michael Aguillio serves as a Business Outreach Liaison for the State of California in the Office of Small Business and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Services. In this role, he educates business owners about the benefits and opportunities of pursuing a Small Business (SB) certification, Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) certification, and contract opportunities with the state of California. Supplier Diversity and Inclusion Program Manager
TJ is Supplier Diversity and Inclusion Program Manager at Intel. He’s responsible for managing and leading teams in the program to meet Intel’s one-billion-dollar goal by end of 2020 in the global supply chain. TJ’s career spans from manufacturing to program management with positions such as Process and Equipment Development Engineering, and Strategic Sourcing. TJ’s personal skills in relationship building, thinking critically, change management, and mentoring adds value in creating and maintaining a strong diversity brand. When not working at Intel, he enjoys playing golf; tennis; scuba diving with LifeWater.org; skiing; travel; and officiating for USQRA Wheelchair Rugby (Paralympic sport).
Angela Freeman
Manager, Supplier Diversity
Angela R. Freeman is the Manager, Supplier Diversity for MGM Resorts International (MGMRI) where she manages the supplier diversity program nationally, which includes but not limited to sourcing diverse suppliers for contracting opportunities with MGMRI. In her role she meets with internal stakeholders and category leaders to understand the procurement needs and requirements to identify suppliers with capabilities, capacity and willingness to conduct business with MGMRI. Ms. Freeman monitors the utilization of diverse business enterprise-wide to ensure annual goals are met. Ms. Freeman strives to change the image of supplier diversity from a community initiative, to a standardized procurement process to identify and provide quality products and/or services at a competitive price. Ms. Freeman served as the Director of Corporate Services for the Houston Minority Supplier Development Council. For more than twenty years she has advocated for minority business development and received awards and distinguished recognitions. She worked with various chambers and community organizations in assisting them to achieve their mission in stimulating economic growth within the community. Most recently, Ms. Freeman received the 2019 Supplier Diversity Leader of the Year award from the Western Regional Minority Supplier Development Council.
Madison H. Gunter, III MBA
Director Supplier Diversity/Supplier Sustainability Programs
Madison Gunter III has 20 plus years of experience leading global teams in the areas of supplier diversity, workforce diversity, offsets & countertrade, technical marketing engineering and channel business development. This year Madison was asked to lead Salesforce’s Supplier Diversity and Supplier Sustainability programs after spending a year consulting. Madison was also a small business owner, Gunter Group Inc. (http://guntergroupllc.com/about-us/), which has had a huge amount of success working with small and medium size businesses. Madison received his Masters of Business Administration from University of Santa Clara (Leavey School of Business), a Bachelor of Arts from California State University Chico, and is certified as a Telecommunications Engineer from University California, Berkeley.

Chief Business Relationship Officer
Roger Cheng, Chief Business Relationship Officer for Meijun, LLC, is responsible for global business development and sales leveraging Supplier Diversity as a key strategy. Roger also oversees strategic partnerships with key OEMs and solution providers. Roger, also known as "the Voice," has served as emcee or VOG for a number of organizations, including NMSDC, WBENC and their respective Regional Councils, Fortune 500 companies such as Toyota and Honda, and multiple culture Chambers of Commerce. In 2017, Roger was recognized as the #Hes4Shes Champion at the WBENC National Conference.
