Matthew holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of California, Davis; is a public servant, entrepreneur, cook, motivational speaker, brand ambassadors and vice president of research and development for the Burgess Brothers Brand. Collectively, Jonathan and Matthew brought their talents and ideas together to develop and market a host of products fit for the hospitality industry, in addition to creating the World’s only ChurWaffle.

Roger, also known as “the Voice,” has served as emcee or VOG for a number of organizations, including NMSDC and its Regional Councils, Fortune 500 companies such as Toyota and Honda, and multiple cultural Chambers of Commerce. In true servant leadership fashion, Roger serves on boards in his community. And, in 2017, Roger was recognized as the #Hes4Shes champion at the WBENC National Conference.

She is also a best-selling author, international speaker, and has received numerous awards such as: Top 30 Female Entrepreneurs in America, Hero for Humanity and National Advocate of the Year for Working Mothers.

Plummer formerly worked with Robert Half for 17 years and left his most recent position as the Director of CSS Strategic Solutions to join the Council. Plummer has over 13 years of executive leadership experience and possesses a solid background in strategic sourcing, change management, performance and process improvement, Supplier Diversity, strategic planning, and risk management.

Sylvia L. Daniels Ray is Cardinal Health’s Supplier Diversity & EPP Manager for the West Region. She is responsible for the execution and oversight of the supplier diversity and environmentally preferred purchasing strategies for Cardinal Health’s partnership with Kaiser Permanente. Prior to joining Cardinal Health, Sylvia worked for Henry Ford Health System in Southeastern Michigan for 16 years.
